In addition to our fun theme weekends, our regular weekend activity program usually includes a mix of the following: Crafts, candy bar bingo, kids’ fun hour, ball games, and more! And for adults: darts, pokeno, bingo and horseshoes.

April 15 Campground Opens
(Weather permitting.)
May 6-8 Mothers Day: All Country DJ
Y’all dress in your country best and enjoy a night of all country music at Mom’s request.
May 13-15 Karaoke with KJ Dawn B.
If you’re feeling like the star that you are, then this is the night for you!
May 20-22 Special Event: Trailer Trash
Saturday night come see the best modern country band in Western MA. This ain’t Grandpa’s country! This is Trailer Trash!
May 27-30 Memorial Day Weekend
The swimming pool opens. Kick start summer with our annual Field Day Events for all ages. Glow Party with DJ Christopher Robin on Saturday night. Sunday night welcome Chalk Dust, an all teacher band covering rock and alternative tunes.
June 3-5 Special Event: No Shoes Nation Band, A Kenny Chesney Tribute
First, a “Pirate Flag” pre-party with DJ Christopher Robin on the beach. Later, “Everything gets hotter when the sun goes down” when No Shoes Nation Band takes the stage.
June 10-12 Special Event: Aquanett
Welcome Aquanett Saturday night. Labeled “New England’s most authentic tribute to the 80’s.“ Their look, authentic sound to the original artists and dedication to their fans have been keeping people coming out again and again for over a decade.
June 17-19 Father’s Day Special Event: Johnny Sixgun
Johnny Sixgun is a ten piece hard driving classic rock band complete with horn section that will hit the ground runnin’ hard and loud. Every Dad is sure to find something to love at this classic rewind evening. Get ready to join in, we promise it is an experience.
June 24-26 Pirate Weekend
It’s all about the 12 and under picaroons. Saturday with MYO Pirate Ship Contest. Hang out on the beach for a pre-party Saturday afternoon. Saturday night join us for a swashbuckling good time with DJ Christopher Robin out on the beach! Wear your best, we will be judging ye for a Costume Contest.
July 1-5 Fourth of July Weekend
Highlights for the long weekend: Camp Parade Saturday with Elvis on Parade. Saturday night welcome King Kountry, Sunday evening Karaoke with KJ Dawn B, Monday evening is DJ Dance with Christopher Robin.
July 8-10 Sunsetview’s 52nd Birthday
Celebrate our birthday with camper carnival games and The Shriners Clowns. Saturday night will feature General Gist who will keep you dancing all night long playing classic rock and blues with an unexpected twist.
July 15-17 Beach Dance
Join us for fun in the sun Saturday with DJ Christopher Robin playing all your favorite beach tunes. Featured activities include music on the beach all day, a Limbo Contest for all ages and a Volleyball Tournament for ages 13 and up.
July 22-24 Christmas In July
Bring your holiday decorations for our site decorating contest. Saturday is Christmas Caroling Karaoke with KJ Dawn B. Santa and his elves will be here Saturday night for a Christmas Party!
July 29-31 Country Weekend with Southern Rain
Saddle up for a children’s obstacle course. Saturday night welcome back Southern Rain, playing all your modern country favorites with a little rock and pop mixed in.
August 5-7 50’s Weekend
Craft and Vendor Fair will be held on Saturday. Saturday night the Skid Marks joins us for vintage rock’ n’ roll delivered with the look and sound of an authentic 50’s & 60’s rock show. Dig up your poodle skirts, bobby socks and leather jackets for a costume contest. Click here to apply for exhibit space in our vendor and craft fair.
August 12-14 Luau Weekend
Aloha! Activities include a two person boat race for ages 13 and above and limbo contests for all ages. Enjoy music on the beach all day.
August 19-21 Karaoke Contest
Enjoy music on the beach all day. At night, dress up as your favorite artist and walk the red carpet to perform your favorite song in a Karaoke Contest with a tropical twist, it’s on the beach! Awards will be given.
August 26-28 Totally 80’s Weekend
It’s 80’s weekend with a Glow Party with DJ Christopher Robin featuring music from the MTV era from A Flock of Seagulls to Madonna. For sure there will be a radial 80’s costume contest. Awards will be given.
September 2-5 Labor Day Weekend
Featuring a Pokeno Marathon on Friday Night and a Bingo Marathon on Saturday. Saturday night welcome Sidetracked, playing a wide variety of covers from the Beatles to Adele and everything in between. There is bound to be something for everyone. Sunday we will feature our Annual Chinese Raffle to benefit The Springfield Shriners Children’s Hospital. Great items for a great cause!
September 9-11 Movie Night
Get your last swim in, the pool closes after this weekend. Saturday is movie night!
September 16-18 Special Event: LA’s BackStage Pass
Saturday night welcome back LA’s Backstage Pass. This band is a reflection of what the 80's were all about. The sound, the attitude, the performance - BSP will ROCK YOUR PAST TODAY!
September 23-25 Special Event: Trailer Trash
Trailer Trash Returns! Come and see the hottest party band in Western MA, playing all your modern country favorites.
September 30 - October 2 Special Event: Halloween Weekend
Decorate yourselves and your campsites with all things Halloween! If you can, keep your Halloween decorations up through Columbus Day to keep the Halloween spirt creeping along. Join us for Costume Contest and Trick or Treating. If you dare, join us at a Monster Mash DJ Dance Party! Our featured event is our spine-chilling Trail of Terror to benefit a local charity.
October 7-10 Columbus Day Weekend
Enjoy seasonal favorites, Scarecrow Making and our Pumpkin Decorating Contest. Saturday night join us for one last DJ Dance with Christopher Robin. Don’t forget to wear your costumes, it’s a costume party! Sunday night welcome Brookfield Rhythm playing classic rock, r&b, funk and soul. Please be there Sunday night at 8:30 pm as we reveal our fundraising totals for the season and present our check to The Springfield Shriners Children Hospital.

Columbus Day At Sunsetview Farm Camping Area

Welcome to Columbus Day Weekend!  Here's a list of all the fun!

Winter Bash and TV Raffle

  • Every year our campers plan a get together half way through the long winter to catch up and have a party to see everyone. This year's Winter Bash will be at the Polish American Citizens Club in Ludlow, MA (355 East Street) on February 4, 2023. This year's theme is a Luau. This event is open to anyone who camps at Sunsetview!!  Tickets are $25.00.
  • On Columbus Day Weekend there will be a TV Raffle for a 65" Flat Smart TV. Tickets are $5.00 and benefit the Winter Bash. Winner will be pulled after the Shriners Check Presentation on Sunday 10/9/2022. Winner does not need to be present, but the name and phone number must be on the ticket.
  • Tickets for the Winter Bash and TV Raffle can be purchased at all Columbus Day events by Donna, Carmen or Kim.  Winter Bash Tickets will be sold beyond Columbus Day.

Friday - October 7, 2022

Fireside Grill Hours: 4:30 pm to 10:00pm

  • 5:00 pm Pumpkin Carving Sign Ups: At the Office. There are two categories. 12 and under and 13 to adult. Deadline to sign up is 5:00 pm on Saturday. 
  • 6:30 pm Adult Dart Tournament Sign Ups: At the pavilion for adults. Fee $3.00.
  • 7:00 pm Sharp! Adult Dart Tournament: Begins at the pavilion for adults.
  • 7:00 pm Kids Candy Bar Bingo: At the tent near the pavilion. This year we will be providing the nut free candy. All you need is yourself and either a highlighter, dabber or light colored crayon to play. 

Saturday - October  8, 2022

Fireside Grill Hours: 8:00 am-11:00 am/ 12:30 pm-4:00 pm/ 5:00 pm- 10:00 pm

  • 9:00 am to 5:00 pm Pumpkin Carving Sign Ups: At the Office. There are two categories. 12 and under and 13 to adult. Deadline to sign up is by 5:00 pm tonight!
  • 10:00 am Crafts: At the pavilion for all ages. We are making  Scarecrows.  Fee $1.00. 
  • 12:15 pm Bingo Card Sales Begin: At the pavilion for adults. 
  • 12:30 pm Registration for Adult Cornhole:  At the pits by the beach. Fee: $3.00
  • 1:00 pm Sharp! Bingo: Begins at the pavilion for adults. 
  • 1:00 pm Adult Cornhole: At the pits near the beach.
  • 4:00 pm  Kickball: At the ball field. For all ages. Please wear shoes for safety. 
  • 5:00 pm Deadline for Pumpkin Carving Contest: At the Office. Remember there are two categories, 12 and under and 13 to adult. 
  • 7:00 pm Pumpkin Contestant Arrival: Bring your pumpkins down to the pavilion. Make sure to check in and grab a number for your pumpkin. Then put them in the designated area for your age group. 
  • 7:30 pm to 10:00 pm Glow In The Dark/Costume DJ Dance:  Join Christopher Robin for one last hoorah! Crack out your Halloween costumes and/or your glow in the dark apparel and accessories and make this last DJ Dance a memorable one.
  • 8:00 pm to 9:00 pm: Pumpkin Voting Booth: Awards are People's Choice. Come and place your votes for your favorite pumpkins in each category. 
  • 9:30 pm Pumpkin Carving Contest Winners: Be at the pavilion while we announce the pumpkin winners.  

Sunday - October 9, 2022

  • 7:30 pm to 10:00 pm Live Entertainment With Brookfield Rhythm: at the pavilion for all ages.  Let's give a big Sunsetview welcome to Brookfield Rhythm, playing classic rock, R&B, funk and soul.  It will be a great night. 
  • 8:30 pm Check Presentation: Come see what our fundraising totals are for the year.  Let's see how our "Little Campground in the Woods" did this year.  
  • 8:45 ish pm Drawing for the TV: Winter Bash will be pulling for TV. Information on how to buy tickets can be found on page one.

Halloween

  • We hope everyone had a terrifyingly good time at last weekends Halloween Weekend. The costumes were fantastic and the campsites were super spooky. The treats flowed freely and a good time was had by all.
  • Thank you to all of you who sent in costume pictures. We were so bummed ours were lost and you all came through big time!
  • Thank you to Kathy, Pam, and Pat for a wonderful job judging the costume contest.. a tough task. There were so many amazing costumes! 
  • Great job by everyone on the Spooky Site Stroll last weekend. Kris and her crew put on full "Beetlejuice" display straight from the "Handbook For The Recently Deceased." Amazing job!
  • We want to give all of our volunteers who were involved in our Trail Of Terror a HUGE THANK YOU! Unless you have ever participated, you simply don’t realize how much thought, work, and creativity goes into this event. You guys are just awesome!
  • Special thanks to Jim and Hannah for putting our pre-trail movie together. Yes both Chuck and Nicky are available for autographs!
  • To the best guides in the business, Jed, Kat, and Donna..you handled this very tough job with such enthusiasm and grace, we appreciate you!

Winterizing (BOO)

It's that time of year again  Blue Feather is again winterizing this year.  All the information you need is in the office. It can be paid for by cash or check. If you are interested, please come by the office and pick up a sheet and leave a set of keys at the office with your application and payment.  

A Thank You to the Fireside Grill

Thank you for all the meals you have cooked up during the years.  We will miss you! Good luck on your next adventure. Be sure to stop by and thank Dave and Stephanie for all their delicious meals, hard work, and friendship.

13th World Fright Park Comes to Palmer MA!
13th World Fright Park is open select nights this fall starting Saturday, September 24th through November 5th with three terrifying attractions; Moonlight Mayhem, Chamber Of Lost Souls, and Alone. Opening at dusk each day - opening times vary by day.

Attention Seasonals:

  • Please no power tools, leaf blowers, air compressors, etc until after 3:00 pm Monday 10/10, 2022.
  • Please dispose of any year end bulky trash next weekend. The dumpsters will be quite full after the holiday weekend. 
  • If you have a grill or other item made of metal, check with the office. Do not put metal into the dumpsters. As always, never bring in trash from elsewhere, thank you!
  • Last Night to stay over is 10/15/2022.
  • You are welcome to come up and check your trailer after we close. Just remember to either call and listen to the voice mail message or check our Facebook page. There may be times when we restrict access to the campground.
  • Electric meters will be read by October 15 so be sure to stop by the office before we close to pay any outstanding utility bills.
  • Office closes Sunday 10/16/ 2022 at 7:00 pm. 
  • Last day for water use is Wednesday October 19,2022. Water will be shut off on Thursday October 20, 2022.

In closing, we would like to thank all of our campers for sticking by us all these years! 52 years and counting!!  We would not have made it if it was not for you. We hope your families have a great winter and can take away some precious memories made here from this season.
